Great adventure. Rise of the Third Power
Trying to seriously jrpg with plots. Without spoilers, a review.
The game is declared for platforms: PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One, Linux, MacOS, Nintendo Switch, Mac OS.
Cunning. He could not realize his huge part (there was not enough English knowledge). It is only clear that the heroes will resist the evil hostile emperor and his forces.
I can only say that there are a lot of text in the game. This is mainly dialogs. But there are small notes, excerpts from books, interesting objects.
The gameplay is a JRPG with a huge world, step -by -step battles and plot.
Detailed learning system works as you pass.
The whole game is the passage of certain tasks. This process varies to some extent. For example, there is a stealth system and you can either slip past some opponents’ units and enter into battle with them. It is advisable, of course, to always fight, since this is experience and sometimes obtaining new items.
Battles are a classic step -by -step fight with an exchange of blows. The scheme is standard. There is a scale of the time on which the characters with the order of the attack depending on the speed parameter.
The battles are quite serious, it’s just not to achieve the auto-atams, you will have to delve into the skills of each hero and learn the possibilities of opponents and use the corresponding potions in time.
When attacking “from the back” (from the zone outside the independentcasinosites.co.uk/ enemies of enemies), our fighters receive the right of the first move, regardless of the speed of the characters.
There are elite opponents and bosses. And our fighters from some moment can use special strong combo attacks.
In the game (at least, in the part that has passed) there are quite few equipment elements. I didn’t find a single new weapon at all. There is a craft from the collected materials.
For increasing the level, they award talent glasses with which we get new skills and passive skills. Experience is gained very slowly, which is an additional incentive in order to enter into all possible battles. There are eight heroes in total, there is something to develop.
During the game (14 hours, but with large breaks), I could not reveal all the secrets of even the first location (this is just a point on a global map), but there is also a huge world with a bunch of other levels.
Consider the pros and cons of the game, summarize the results.
+ Great musical and sound accompaniment.
+ Big world for research.
+ A little torn, tense, but still a balanced battle.
+ Good plot, many dialogs and text in general.
What can be like a plus and minus:
+- Typical graphics RPG MAKER. You can get used to it, but I would clearly like something better.
– There is no Russian localization of the text, and there are a lot of it. Personally, my medium-naught knowledge of English was clearly not enough to completely absorb the plots.
– The locations are large, but they are very uniform and at the same time too confusing. There are a lot of mini-crossings, stairs, passage rooms. Moreover, there is no any hint where to go, the marks on the entrances/outputs would not directly interfere – where to move. It was the quest with the search for the subject that finally finished me off. Yes, the task indicates the name of the place, but how to understand whether it is it or not? Personally, I just realized what I was sagging to look, striking the same rooms.

If the presence of a relatively complicated English language and the need to look for key places without special clues does not scare, then for lovers of genre, the game may well be of interest.

I liked the abundance of dialogs, dynamic and rather complex battles, that is the content. I did not like the plot rail of what is happening and fermentation in the same rooms.
